100 Happy Days

Have you heard of the 100 Happy Days project?  Its a social media experiment where a person takes a moment every day to acknowledge one moment or thing that made them happy that day, no matter how big or small.  These little happinesses are shared daily via social media as updates or photos.  I love photo-a-day projects, and love watching those friends of mine who engage in them grow as photographers and find new energy day-to-day in pursuit of subjects and inspiration.  My brother is in the midst of his second 365 project, and my gorgeous friend Sarah, pictured here, is several months into her 100 Happy days project.  If you’d like to know more, here are links to 100happydays and the 365project.

    • It a light instillation called Multiverse, by artist Leo Villareal, in the underground tunnel that connects the East and West wings of the National Gallery. It’s one of my favorite places in the whole city <3
