  1. Looks awesome! This reminds me of a little bread-and-cheese picnic hubby and I did at Point Reyes here in NorCal, so fun!
So I read your comment about cameras on my blog~ my hubby and I are actually looking for both a body AND a lens, not just to take better pictures but also so that we can both have a camera when we’re apart. We have the nikon d5100 right now and want a more professional body (although I remember him saying he probably won’t do full-frame, don’t know why) and need a wide-angle lens. Any suggestions??

    • I’ve read good things about the 7100 if you aren’t looking for full frame, but I haven’t done much research on fancy, non-full-frame cameras. Personally, I have a couple of beautiful fixed lenses, but I’m frustrated with my cropped-frame D60. I’m thinking of getting a D600, but I need to do a little more research. In terms of lenses, I have a 35mm 1.8 and it was great for a while, but now I have a 50mm 1.4 and it is SO GORGEOUS.

I did a little background reading on ultra-wide lenses and found this useful, , but decided I wanted to focus on getting a new camera body first.
